Welp, it’s out now XD. I only spent 3 days on this game.

This is my first time entering the O2A2 jam, and it was fun creating this! I’ve had the general concept in mind for around a year, and it’s a pretty funny story. I was taking an acting class in high school, and we had to make our own plays based on fairytales. I was throwing ideas at the wall, and being angsty teenage me, came up with a “dark spin” on a fairy tale (not really too dark). What’s the aftermath of Sleeping Beauty? Once the princess wakes up after a century of sleep? When all she knows is gone? Yep. You could probably see why I said this game has slight existential dread stuff. I didn’t know exactly how it would play out, but I wanted to pose that question (And now I’m tempted to make more games that put a spin on fairy tales XD.).

Would I develop my future games like this one? Heck no XD. Unless one of those games were really short. Mostly because it was very finicky trying to use RPGMaker to make a visual novel with an animated character and camera shenanigans. But did I learn from making this? Hell yeah.
