Hey, so this was really good at capturing the essence of a story in such a short time. I really enjoyed this!

(+1)

truly a beautiful and tragic game about the story of the sleeping beauty, but from a very different perspective about her life, the curse that marked her fate, and the outcome of what happens next.
as in many situations, kindness and compassion can help, and i loved that you could choose your approach with the princess, and to pick a path that could make things change (for the better or for something else)

the princess is a beautiful, elegant character with an emotional depth and pain of someone who was under a curse for too long, and the protagonist, depending on what path he picks,is either a kind person or a selfish person, and i do like this unique dichotomy to choose from...

all in all, a great game that stays with you long after you've finished playing it.

keep making good games like this, bravo!

Jerked it.

Hii! I'm doing a binge play of all your works/games and I'm starting with this one! I absolutely love the art and how the story dives into the darker themes of the sleeping beauty fairytale. Not everyone is the same but I too would not want to be waken if I'm to find everyone I cared about had died. Her feelings were completely valid!!

(+2)(-1)

I said No One cause WHO SAYS I'M HER HERO. Went to do the other ending...DANG I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. (before both I just said No like I usually do in games) Celeste and No One will reclaim her kingdom and...idk get married and have kids and stuff? Maybe do some seance so she can see her dead family. Anyway this games great and makes a lot more sense then : AND THE PRINCESS DIDN'T GIVE A FORK HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE DEAD AND MARRIED SOME RANDO! 10/10 feels like something I would make

reallyy lovely

(+1)

Great story!! I really enjoyed this. I look forward to experience your other works.

(+1)

Bangerrrrrr, I love all the routes available, each exploring an interesting possibilites~

Keep it upppp

(+2)

You explore this classic fairytale from such an interesting angle in this game!

(+2)

I really liked this take on the fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty. It was intriguing to see how the story revolved around the existential dread of Celeste after being woken up. But I especially liked that you could choose the way to approach her regarding that. Acting as the “hero” was both cruel and sad at the same time.

.

this was really intersting! it's always awesome to see stories/games explore the psychological horror that comes with making impactful choices for another person. thanks so much LiminAce!

(+1)

Wow, this was really fun to play! Great game! I love the art style :D

(+1)

Nice.
(+1)

The one hundred years part of the curse has always haunted me, so I enjoyed seeing your exploration of it. It's very well done. I love how the different choices lead to the different endings--the way they change the player's motivations and Celeste's response to those motivations.

(+1)

Nice short visual novel game. ALL ENDINGS:

(+1)(-1)

Full Screen Mode would add a ton of atmosphere

I think exactly the same

(+1)

It's honestly shocking how our playable character can act. One of the paths is where our hero goes down a self entitled path, while the other is considerate. But the game, while short, was good. How would you feel after you slept for over 100 years with everything you know is now gone? Celeste is just acting naturally.

(+1)

This was a pretty cool short visual novel! I really love Celeste's character design!

(+2)

Got the good ending first, neutral ending next, bad ending last. Short but nice. Personally would love a longer version too.

(1 edit) (+1)(-1)

no clue what those content warnings were about it's got none of that stuff i just hit no and the game ended /s

3 endings

it was a joke

oh. Whoops. In my defence Im pretty sure it was 2 AM.

(+1)(-1)

I like it ... and great music :-

(+1)

this is so so good. i love that the choices change the story so much. The first one obviously does, but the second choice and how that influences everything is so interesting. The music is gorgeous. Celeste is such a great character, I'd love to see more of her. Both her and the player character raises questions, about the morality of the situation, of what you'd gain out of a situation like this and if thats worth potentially like, impacting them in such a way. So good omg!!

(+1)

Brilliantly done! Got me thinking about how I'd react if I were in that situation and all my loved ones gone. Thank you for this beautiful game!

(+2)

I really liked this!! It's a very interesting interpretation of the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale.

I like that the way to get the most hopeful ending is by having empathy for Celeste and not seeing her as a trophy. I hope that she and the MC will live a good life <3

The art is beautiful and I loved the detail of the snow (or fireflies? I'm not sure which of the two they are meant to be but it looks really pretty)!

(+1)

Quite Somber tbh, and really shines a new light on the Sleeping Beauty kind of tale, where instead of the curse stopping time for all, Just the princess has it stopped.

Short but Top Tier.

(+1)

Oh I knew I was going to love this one as soon as I hit the title screen

(+1)

It was an amazing story! I really loved the direction, be it the art, the GUI and even the music track! Everything was also programmed in so beautifully, the panning of the background, the darker variations and the sparkles were all beautiful. I also really enjoyed the monochromatic direction!

For the story itself, I truly appreciated the conflict portrayed here: we all know Sleeping Beauty as a tale, and we all mostly know the Disney adaptation lol, in which, magically enough, the whole kingdom falls asleep with her, so that she would find her family after her slumber. So I appreciated the grounded take the game offered, and how the various endings explored it, in its most optimistic and pessimistic tones.

Congrats on releasing this game, and thank you for sharing it!

(+2)

What a nice short story that got me instantly hooked, it's nice imagining what happened to them. Everything else enhances it, so beautiful.

(+2)

Such an amazing way to enchant the reader with a short story! I really liked the little animation on her facial expressions and full body shot! You can really see a lot of emotion going through her, and a story that leaves us intrigued <33 so good!

(+2)

I love that there's an option to just not wake her and end the game right there; it made me chuckle. Great story and deconstruction of the classic fairy tale setup, too! (A skip button for the replays would have been great though!)

(+1)

Ah, poor Celeste...

The game is very beautiful! The dark tones, music, and the animation... gotta love them all.

(+1)

Love the purple and simplistic vibe of it! I also like how the second options event turn out.

(1 edit) (+1)

This is really well made and effective, especially given the limitations! The images are simple but evocative, and the camerawork and shader give them extra life. Also the subtle music choice works super well.
My only criticism would be the lack of a skip key, I know it's a short game but it still makes it harder to replay.

NO CG

NO GC

NOOOOO, NOT THE CGS!!!

We're doomed

(+1)

This was beautiful :>

I really liked it!

(+2)

This is incredibly polished for something for such a minimalist jam! Very impressive.

(+2)

Amazing! Well done! A beautiful example of what you can make within limitations for game jams. And a great story and original concept, moving, I liked it a lot. Thank you for sharing :>

(+2)

Really cute art! I got all three endings, and I thankfully ended with the more hopeful one.
