I was finally able to make some significant progress on Chapter 4! Over the past week, I’ve been grinding map artwork, and I think it turned out really pretty!

I’ve also been making progress with where I want the story to go from here, specifically what I’m going to focus on for this chapter. There’s so many parts of Oliver’s character I’d like to explore, but for the sake of not going all over the place, there’s only a few things this chapter is really gonna hone in on. You’re either gonna love it or hate it XD.

As for when Chapter 4 will release, I can’t say for certain. I’m working on a small side project in tandem with this project as a teaser for a future project. That side project isn’t taking too much time away from the development of this chapter, though. I’d estimate that Chapter 4 could be done By either sometime this month, or by February, assuming I don’t burn out again! Don’t take my word for it, though.

As for the branches of Chapter 5, I haven’t even started much work on them. I’ve got the story synopsis stuff down, but no art or engine stuff. On the bright side, I know that I’m going to have June, July, and August off this year. Assuming I work at the same rate I did as last year, I could finish up TCPC around that time!

So the ideal chapter release schedule would be something like:

Chapter 4: February

Both Chapter 5 branches plus the Epilogue: August

Again, take this schedule with a grain of salt. Real life responsibilities could easily delay the release of the chapters XD.

While waiting for the release of Chapter 4, I’ll be posting lots of artwork of these characters on Bluesky! Nothing there is required to understand what’s gonna happen in TCPC, but if you’re content starved, check it out! I even draw small comics of the characters!
